In an effort to provide Leslies and Leslie descendants worldwide, a new organization was launched in April 2024.
The Leslie Global Diaspora Foundation will provide an interactive way for Leslies to learn about their history and heritage. The Foundation is not intended to replace or eliminate the need for a Facebook social media pages and Leslie Genealogy page or the Clan Leslie Society International organization.
Instead, the Foundation will do much of the behind the scenes work of:
- researching and documenting Leslie history and making it accessible to readers,
- identifying and preserving Leslie documents,
- identifying and preserving Leslie historical sites,
- assisting Leslies and its descendants in learning how to research and document family history, and
- facilitating travel to visit and learn about Leslie sites
