Travel Opportunity
Based on the very successful 2025 Leslie Scotland Heritage Tour, the LGDF is in the initial stages of planning a spring 2027 Leslie Ireland Heritage Tour. Before we get too far along with this heritage event, we need to determine if there is interest. If a trip to Dublin, Belfast, and other places of Leslie interest along with a stay at the Castle Leslie Estate is something you would like to do, please indicate your desire to go on the tour on the form at this link below. If there is sufficient interest, we will proceed with some initial planning.

Day 1: Arrive in Dublin
Evening get together
Lodging in Dublin
Day 2: Tour of Dublin Hop on Hop off Bus Tour
General Post Office, Famine Ship, and Trinity College
Travel to Belfast
Lodging in Belfast
Day 3: Visit Ulster-Scots Discovery Centre
Tour EPIC Centre, Titanic Museum
Lodging in Belfast
Day 4: Travel to Ballymoney and to North Coast
Then on to Raphoe and Galway
Lodging – to be decided
Day 5: Visit Famine Museum
Travel to Castle Leslie Estate
Reception and dinner
Lodging in castle on the estate
Day 6: Tour Castle Grounds
Visit with Samantha Leslie
Lodging in castle on the estate
Day 7: Return to Dublin
Lodging on your own.
